This course teaches an emergency approach on how to manage adults, children and infants in cardiac/respiratory emergencies and rendering life saving care until professional rescuers arrive.

The 4-6 hour CPR course includes the following topics:

• Cardiac/Stroke Risk Factors

• Angina/Heart Attack

• TIA/Stroke

• Adult, Child and Infant choking - conscious and unconscious
  Adult, Child and Infant CPR

• 1 and 2 person CPR

• Sudden cardiac arrest

• Automatic External Defibrillation (awareness) and more topics

• Ongoing casualty scenarios throughout the course

Prerequisites:
 

• Current CPR certification

• Comfortable with modalities

• Pre-course test sent prior to course
