Life Support (PALS)
10 persons or more $350.00 per person plus HST
This 16 hour/2 day course includes skill stations, scenarios, lectures,
applications, and a written test. A Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario
certificate in P.A.L.S. is awarded on successful completion.
Prerequisites:
Current CPR Level “C” certification
This course will provide the learner with instruction in Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) under the latest guidelines ‘2005 and 2010 from the HSFO/AHA.
(The Standard of PALS in Ontario/U.S.)
Case -based scenarios are facilitated in groups within a real-time
interactive learning environment. Participants will receive Real Procedural
Practice within their scope of practice in a non-threatening environment.
This course is designed for a learner to pass PALS while learning from
Experienced Providers who are present to answer any PALS questions. This
course is great for Experienced Providers, New Providers, and Students.
